In recent years, the purpose of the connection between customers and brand identity seems to be more important than ever before. It could be said that there were so many kinds of marketing methods with their variations that have appeared to satisfy these demands.

"Think globally, act locally" has become a guideline applied profoundly and widely into the Vietnam market. Despite being considered as a global brand, Unilever has a genuinely local approach which is not too fancy, so that helps to connect with their consumers in naturally. From 2012, by various diversity activities such as competition, workshop, events related to students or youngsters in common, Unilever has step by step spread their positive image to those who are not only their potential customers but also their well-trained employees soon.

By 2013, tech giants like Google or Microsoft have conducted similar strategies in Vietnam. In detail, Vietnam students seemed to be familiar with two remark programs are Google Student Ambassador (Đại sứ Google) and Microsoft Student Partners (Đối tác các sinh viên Microsoft).

Via ambassador recruitment programs or programs held by these ambassadors, Google and Microsoft have become more friendly than ever before. Even secondary student also tend to be big fans of these two tech giants throughout typical events like "Hour of Code" (designed to demystify "code," to show that anybody can learn the basics and to broaden participation in the field of computer science.), "Google your Business" (With the main ambition to motivate Digital Marketing knowledge among youngster in ASEAN community) and many other interesting programs.

In the near future, I hope such programs will continue to develop stronger; this creates many opportunities for young people to gain more new knowledge as well as to be survivors in a perfectly competitive labour market.
